belt drive conversion

07/17/2008 2:05 PM

I am looking into converting a helical gear drive train in one our machines to cogged belt drive to minimize variation. The question is, where would I find information on figuring pulley diameters. I want to have a basic understanding of the process to ensure the project gets done correctly and eliminate the possibility of shaft/roll speed issues.

In advance, thanks.
