CFBC BOILER OPERATION

I want to know the operation details of CFBC boiler and its critical area for operation alongwith its troubleshooting and its advantage over the AFBC boiler.

I'm working on "boiler controls" for 6 years at least but i did not hear about this term.

What is "CFBC" stands for?

I can not recall these terms 'cause of speaking different languge. An answer is not necessary since i learned them.

AFBC - Atmospheric Fludized Bed Combustion Boiler

CFBC - Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion Boiler

PFBC - Pressurized Fludized Bed Combustion Boiler

Basically for pulverized coal 1-12 mm size.

How come perosn working in boiler field for six years and not known about CFBC boilers.

these are most prefered boiler for captive power plants. They are more econnomical in the range of 75 to 500 TPH capacity. Can handle worst fuels like f grade coal, washery reject and Bio mass etc. also one can use it for fuels like petcoke etc.

Initial cost is marginally higher than AFBC boilers but having more faster responce to fluctuating loads. cross section area of furncae is lesser compared to AFBC boiler but taller furnace of boiler. These boilers having many advantages compared to AFBC. Like requiremnt of bed material is less as ash inside the furnace is used as b material.

velocity of flue gas in AFBC is 4-5 m/s where as in CFBC it is 15-20 m/see
