versaview password reset

07/18/2008 6:51 AM

I have an 15", Allen Bradley, (Rockwell Automation) versaview, running windows xp pro, that was taken off of a decommissioned machine and I would like to use it for another machine. Here is my dilemma..The engineer who set this older machine has put in administrative passwords, and user passwords, and he just happens to not be with the company any more and is un-reachable. Is there a way to reset these administrative passwords without a complete system restore? Ive ran password reset software that I got from our I.S. guy but to no avail. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello clevis1

You could refer to a free recovery site, and try some of the tools there: http://www.nirsoft.net/password_recovery_tools.html

Also refer to Google Results 1 - 10 of about 26,200,000 for password recovery. (0.14 seconds).

Advise your progress, or lack of it, back here please.

Kind Regards....
