What is this material 16 ga. AKDQ & can i get the same in India, if available please inform contact details.

Is it available in sheet/coil form or rod

AKDQ is an acronym for: Aluminum Killed, Drawing Quality. Applies to mild steels; the aluminium further reduces entrained Fe oxides to reduce shortness.

Usu applies to sheet products for press drawing.

If i recall correctly, that which i used was basically sae 1018 alloy, with impurities removed.

Try Googling:

"steel suppliers" India

If you should find a firm in your locale, they should be able to help you with details: sizes+ forms available, analysis, certifications, &c.
