LM/FM ASME B16.5 Class 150 flanges

07/21/2008 7:59 AM

My questions concern ASME B16.5 flanges. Those flanges are "non-standard" in Russia so we have to issue drawings to order or produce them.

1. Are the RF and LM flanges with 0.25 raised face Classes 400, 600, 900, 1500, 2500 identical (have same dimensions)? So, can we use LM flanges instead of RF ones and vice versa?

2. What is "potential dimensional conflict" (Note7 Table 4) for LM/LF, LT/LG Class 150 flanges? Does it mean there are no LM/LF, LT/LG Class 150 flanges?
