Hydro-Assist Fuel Cell

07/21/2008 10:16 PM

Does anyone know about this Hydro-Assist Fuel Cell that is made by Dutchman Enterprises and guaranteed to increase fuel mileage by at least 50%? Has anyone seen it actually work or know of any evidence of it actually working? Any comments/suggestions/advice would be appreciated. The info can be seen at http://preignitioncc.com/APLLC . Thanks.

This claim has been positively proven to be fake on Mythbusters.

Yes, the HAFC does work. A mechanic I know converted a Toyota Highlander last week to use the HAFC, and the mileage went from 24 to 41 mpg for a 70% improvement. I drove the Toyota. It was amazing. His own Dodge Caravan now gets 39 mpg. My brother is getting his Honda Accord converted this weekend. I'll be getting my Oldsmobile Silhouette done soon, too.

Unless this can be verified by a legitimate independent testing agency, it's moot. If this product works as well as advertised that should be easy to do. In fact, I would think Dennis Lee would call a press conference to demonstrate such and end all doubt as every car owner on the planet would want one.

If and when independent verification is established, then HAFC discussions can continue here. Otherwise all posts on this topic will be closed and/or deleted.
