vacuum solenoid valve

Dear Sir,

I have an application for a control valve that separates two containers under vacuum. Both containers have gas inside, the gas will flow due to pressure difference from one container to another only when the valve is open. One container will be at pressure of -.98 bar (almost absolute vacuum) while the other will be at -.45 bar. The valve must:

· Pass the gas when open until pressure equilibrium between the two tanks (under 20 mbar is allowed as delta pressure).

· When closed, no leak is allowed in either direction up to .70 bar pressure difference.

· Can operates in hot environment up to (45-50)C ambient.

· Gas temperature in containers can reach up to 80 C.

· One way direction and/or two way direction control valve.

  • What is the gas?
  • What is the line size?
  • What are the line and pressure vessel materials?
  • What method of actuation is required? If electric, what voltages are available locally?

Once these questions are answered, a phone call to local valve distributors' sales engineers will prove valuable.
