Then you need to discuss your requirements with your new MCC designer.

OK. I do a good range of previously-used MCCs. Nice cheap price. My agent in Vange will be in touch. <Sneeze, splutter>

While, technically speaking, this is not an extreme problem, but there is a lot detail necessary for a complete solution. There are a lot of possible suggestions that can be offered based on the limited information provided.

Does your current MCC automatically control all of its loads? It may be that replacing the existing MCC is not necessary if control can be added to it to limit load while being supplied by the generator.

Can the generator provided be large enough to supply the entire MCC without replacing it?

Is the MCC being replaced just to accommodate the installation of the ATS and generator? Will the new MCC be two separate units, one for critical and the other for non-critical load?

What kind of physical space limitations are you restricted to for the installation of your equipment?

There are possibly other aspects that may influence your installation, such as permitting and air pollution requirements for your generator.

If you can narrow things down a bit, you may get some usable information.

The answer is rather simple if you only want to add the generator and replace the MCC. Remove the old MCC and install the new one with the same supply from your transformer. That accomplishes the new MCC.

Now, remove the feed from the transformer end and run the feed wires to the generator transfer switch and mount them on the terminals marked "load". Run new wires from the transformer to the transfer switch and mount them on the terminals marked "normal" or "utility" then run the wires from the generator to the transfer switch and mount them on the terminals marked "emergency".

That is the simple answer. There are other considerations that you will have to address, but what I have set forth above will accomplish the solution to the question as you have stated it.

During the preparation of the single line diagram,we found that most our load was AC split unit and two chillers,a lot of computers the following question were appeared:

  1. Did we need for power factor correction unit (low PF loads).
  2. Did we need for harmonic filters (harmonic generated loads PCs).
