safety locking

08/02/2008 1:18 AM

Hello everyone,

I want to make a cylinder inverting machine enclosure safe by including a safety locking device.

This inverter should only operate when there is no one in the area where it is enclosed for safety reasons.

What do I have to know and what do I need?

Thank you

John

what you need at the bare minimum is to pass on much more info about what size the devices you want to protect are, what the intended material is to be and how much are you willing to pay to have a set up designed at the level of key or pucnh code access levels the device will require.

You need what is called a "Machine Safety Audit" to be performed by a qualified engineer who is certified to work in whatever part of the world your machine will be located in.
