I need your help to let me know if agenerator using AVR with two coil for exitation and replaced with new one using one coil for exitation dose it effect in the total Kw output I mean dose the out put decrease or not .
In generators with decreasing the number of exciting parallel current path for constant At/coil providing in air gap, we must increase the excitation wire cross section, or increase the number of generator pole, or increase the number of slots per rotor pole.
