Air Properties At Pressure & Temperature

08/07/2008 2:03 AM

Hi,

I am looking for equations and/or excel add-on to estimate air properties i.e. density, viscosity, enthalpy, entropy, at pressure and temperature

Example : What is the density of dry air and wet air at 5 barg and 50 degC ?

Thanks in advance.

  • Thermodynamic properties of Fluids, by Mayhew & Rogers
  • Perry, The Chemical Engineer's Handbook, any edition.
  • Kempe's Engineers' Yearbook.

Try http://www.aktonassoc.com/ for psychrometric charts and software for non-standard air conditions.

PWSlack, Ried & BudT,

Thanks and appreciate for your inputs.

I'm working on some studies with excel program which required generation of air properties for rigorous calculation.

I will looks into these website.
