	what is the size of the cable and actual voltage drop in a single phase system. load being 1 kw over a span of 8 km.the cables are to be underground.

	What is the source voltage? Are there fluctuations in the source voltage? What does the manufacturer of the load equipment say min and max operating voltages? How much current is the load drawing? What type of load is it? What is the load power factor? If I put a dead gopher in a mailbox, will it still go to heaven? Just for my own curiosity; are you the project engineer on this? __________________ ALL "electrical" failures are mechanical in nature.

	8 km = 8000 meters. Isn't that about 5 miles? You need to give us more detailed infotmation. What is the voltage. High I hope.

	3cx70sqmm HV cable and distance is 1200 km.only one phase getting 250 v and other two phase havine only 110v.
