You will probably need to go online and download the drivers for your sound card and other peripherals since the ones on your laptop are set for Vista. You should be able to get them from toshiba which will sometimes link you to windows downloads. Information should be in your manual from Toshiba, or online.

Good Luck

i got some drivers online and i downloaded them..but the drivers are only for vista. they are not working for win xp. when i purchased the lap top, it was vista with it, and i changed it to win xp cause i don't want to use vista. but after i changed it to win xp all the drivers are gone. i find downloaded them from toshiba site but all the specific drivers are dedicated only for vista not win xp..please got me something

thank you

If the site asked you for the make and model of your laptop, then that is what they would send you. Just download the drivers for XP without stating the make or model. You could try putting in an earlier model and see if it denotes for XP or Vista and just choose the XP format. Just make sure the drivers are for the correct hardware configs. IE:soundboard or lan specs.
