Harmful chemical leak on ISS space station

This report describes a problem on the ISS that happened the other day. Apparently potassium hydroxide was leaking from an oxygen vent. This was only the second time that an emergency was declared on the ISS, and the first time was a false alarm.

DURING THE SAME FLIGHT THE CREW OF ISS ALSO HAD TO REPAIR AN OVERBOARD DISCHARGE VALVE AND IN JUNE A HYDROGEN VENT VALVE HAD TO BE REPAIRED. WITH THAT MANY PROBLEMS, I WOULD BE QUESTIONING THE ABILTY OF THE VALVES TO PERFORM AS DESIGNED.
