We have an Heat exchanger of air compressor which has a leak. The heat exchanger normally cools down the oil and air passing through it. The Heat exchanger is made of aluminum with cooling aluminum fins.
The problem is that it has now a leakand we try to solder it however it does not work. We tried also a special epoxy glue from Loctite but it just peel off because of air pressure inside the cooler.
Can you advise some other method to repair the leak. It is just a small crack at the base of the aluminum. I am not sure if aluminum MIG welding will work as it cause some more cracks on the aluminum.I will be more expensive replacing the whole coolers with a new one.
