MOD 0.2 Worm drive

09/25/2006 10:27 AM

I am looking for 32mm PD worm wheel and associated worm gear at AGMA 10 or 12 specs.

I know it is a bit specialized, but I am suprised at how few companies can preform this kind of machining.

I would appreciate any suggestions or company links.

Take a look at www.geartechnology.com

You may be able to find a specialist manufacturer there.

Also, Davall Gear from the UK might have something that is very accurate or at least be able to point you in the righ direction.

Wow, a worm and worm wheel set at AGMA 10-12 quality. That will be a tough one to find. You may try Rush Gears in the United States. They do make them, but I never needed anything that was better than AGMA 8.
