Made from two mopeds, it may get 100 MPG on the highway, but I wouldn't actually want to be ON the highway in it. (Or be going to pick something up.) That said, it does look groovy.

Interesting design. But wait...where are the seat belts, airbags, side impact beams, ... I guess your legs count as the crumple zones. If EVERYBODY drove one it might be fairly safe, but I think I'll stick with my Honda for now.

gasoline at 145000 BTU/g to get 100 mpg at 60 mph 87000 BTU/h at 30% conversion to shaft power 26100 BTU/h = 10.2 HP you have 10 HP to over come all air resistance and friction.

What makes you say its 30% conversion? Some cars are more efficent than others.
