Saving a download.

08/22/2008 11:08 PM

When I tried to save a downloaded software, it said "Requires 1024 x 768 resolution. Setup cannot continue". How can I correct this problem? Thx.

I am running MS Windows XP Professional.

Your software requires that you change your screen resolution to 1024 × 768. Go your desktop and right click on a blank space. The "Display Properties" will pop up. Go to "Settings" and set your screen resolution as required.

If you already know this and actually mean something else, please give additional information.

Regards,

Vulcan

Good morning, Vulcan. Your advice was just what I needed! Altho initially, for some reason your picture was blocking your text except for the last sentence, I fumbled around and found the Display Properties, and changed the resolution per your suggestion.

After I changed the resolution, the text and everything was very crisp, altho smaller; therefore I went back in and changed the font to 'larger', which seems to solve that problem. Go forth and prosper!

You're welcome.

Actually, I was experimenting with placing the image on the right, which I've never done. It does look like that the text is missing, doesn't it?

About the text size, yes, you needed to do that and I forgot about to tell you about it. You did manage to find out what to do so, well done.

Also, as you age, I think you'll find that you'll have to increase the size again, as I have.

Live long and prosper.
