What is the application? Are you trying to monitor a bare wire feed (like a welding cable) or are you attempting to break the world record for laying undersea cable.

More information is necessary if you want a sensible set of potential answers.

we are cables manufacture so we need measure the actual electrical resistance of Cable during all stage of Manufacturing Like in Stranding Line, Insulation Line And Assembly Line. that is all?

I have spend some time as a production manager in a cable manufacturing industry,and we used to closely moniter the output wire at the drawing machine .

If the drawing dies and coolant are ok and regular sampling is done for wire dia. than resistance should be ok.

i Do not think that there is any such instrument that will moniter the resistance on line for you?
