230 to 110 for dummies HELP!!!!!!!

I HAVE A PIECE OF ELECTRONIC EQUIP I BOUGHT A WIRELESS UNIT IT CAME FROM ENGLAND ITS WIRED FOR 230 WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CONVERT TO 110 please help thank you

I believe that you will need to convert from 50Hz to 60 Hz also. Can the transformer do that also?

Yes, if you buy the right one. There are a wide variety on on the internet specifically for people like me who move from country to country and want to be able to use their electronic gear.

As Sparky notes below we dont have enough info, but frequency may not matter if it is a DC supply.

Our guest needs to read the back of the device and tell us what supply voltage and frequency is required, then it is possible to be more helpful.

Your use of ALL CAPITALS is the same as shouting at the reader in a Forum, and thus is bad manners.

To properly answer your question, you would need to specify the particular "Wireless Unit", type, Make, model.

Some work on AC, some work on DC, and we don't know until you actually advise us.
