You purchase the repair manual on the equipment and follow the instructions therein.

Just guessing, but with your screen name I'd say you are in the USA. Regardless, contact the dealer / manufacturer if you cannot find another source. I purchased two books for my early 70's Case 580CK backhoe from a local dealer. The first book is the same one used by their mechanics in the shop. It gives step by step instructions for trouble shooting and repair procedures. It even shows the specialty tools required for the job. The second book is the one used at the sales counter. It has much more detailed information on parts and numbers. This has been very useful when trying to locate parts that are obsolete from the dealer. When I rebuilt the rear end I found it easier to call with a part number than to try and describe which gear or bearing I needed. Even when part numbers had been changed they still could cross them over and I knew I would get correct part. By local dealer I mean an hour away. So getting the right part the first time has saved a chunk in time and gas. The books were about $120.00 to $150.00 USD each and have been worth every penny.

It sounds as though you have not done this type of work before, remember "clinical cleanliness" at all times, hands as well.....

Wash the transmission well and dry before opening. Do not re use lubricant....
