At a principal shipbuilder's premises in Geoje, South Korea, the roads are wetted and swept by a road-cleaning vehicle that operates continuously. Over the course of the day it covers each road at the premises, sometimes as much as twice.

Hello keshav_gokhale:

I have listed #1 and 2 as they are walk-behind right through to a full lorry bodied watering street vacuum.

#3 is a large vacuum for inside factories and the like.

#4 is a list of different types of vacuums.

I hope you find something that will suit your situation. Please let us know?

Ideal machine would be a road sweeping machine which has two rotating brushes on either side of the machine. due to the vaccum created the road dust is collected and dumped in the bin of the equipment. The bin has to be cleared timely.

A machine by name TPS would be the right one for road cleaning / sweeping purpose.

Dear Sir

We have been using this machine for more than 4 ~ 5 years. ( In India ) we have 3 such machines. in most of the industires they have deployed such machines.

there is nothing for chocking. moreover in most of the cities too, the roads are swept with similar machines ( in India )

For industries environment, it is OK. Keshavji is asking about the roads. It is even Ok for roads like MG road of Bangalore or similar roads. But for average indian roads, it is really difficult to suck the dust, for two main reasons:

1. Indian enivironment itself is much dusty as compared to north hemisphere off tropic countries.

2. Bad maintenance of roads

Sir

I appreciate your concern.

I am working in a cement plant and you can imagine the environment conditions.

our internal roads are best maintained by these machines. we operate these machines in general shift for about 6 hours a day covering maximum roads in our colony. Even these machines are used inside our plant.

I also hear that such machines are deployed in Surat, Gujrath state for road cleaning.

This machine is capable of sucking dust of any kind. the dusts are collected in a bin and later on the operator of the machine has to clear the bin by dumping the dusts at the designated place.

I hope this clarifies your doubt.

Hello keshav_gokhale:

I have listed in my post #4 a list of sites with regard to this type of road vacuum machine. I have listed specific sites which give video demonstrations. And, other sites where you can go through the lists until you find one you like?

Can you tell me if you require it to be made in India? I can then check on the availability.

What are your standards for pm10s in the air there. A Sweeper with a Vac will produce substantial particulates in the air, unless you wet the dust before collection. If you wet it, you might as well just sweep it to the side, wash it into the SD and collect it in sedimentation/infiltration basins.
