Actually When yu get certification from say SGS for ROHS compliant of your product then
they says that it is valid for 5 years . That mens yu need to do certification again.Suppose I am checking for electronics component in my product ,Then Some companies like Philips(NXP) or Onsemi gives the date saying that since what date that product is ROHS compliant.
Now if that date is 5 years before Then is it necessary to ask them that what is current situation?
Because right now I am collecting certificates for each component in my product.
So if you buy a product from a ROHS compliant company and it is ROHS, then the product that you bought will still be ROHS complient after the supplier License expires. If you buy products after the 5 year period and the company has not re-newed it's license then those products are not ROHS Complient anymore
