What is the difference between Inductive proximity switch & Capative proximity switch?

One is inductive, the other capacitive.

An inductive proximity Switch is used when you are using a Metal Flag to make and brake the switch.

A capacitive is used when you are detecting any product Plastic, nylon cardboard Etc.
