H.T 11KV, 132KV voltage without meters

hi,

some one tell me abot this above cited subject that

1- how i know live H.T 11KV,132KV voltage without any meters.

2- Calculation of C/K value in at H.T 11kv & 132kv, if i ve 100/5 C.t & 1st 50kvar capacitor step.

3- some one ve FPe (Nais) Plc application nots or how i use front adjustment of timer those in corprate in ladder programing.

Spark gap is the best way. 40kV/cm to spark in dry air. It will need less at heights and is pressure and moisture dependent. Do not handle high voltage if you are not experienced. It can kill in seconds even with mA current.

sir,

you send me voltage level above 40kv it ok, but wat about 11kv line.

and how i calculate Power factor relay CK value at 11kv line.

It is 40kV/cm or 4kV/mm or 400V for 0.1mm or 40V for 0.01mm or 4V for 0.001mm to form spark in air. It is an electric field of 40kV per cm or 4 Million voltage per meter that generates corona discharge. This is rule of thumb and not exact, but very close to accurate measurement.

For 11 kV spark gap will be about 3mm.

Take two metal pins separated by 3mm and connect high voltage to them if you get spark at 3mm distance then voltage is more than 11kV.

PIN 1 ========> 3mm <========PIN 2

If spark seen here then V>11kV
