Look through this Globalspec page - follow up some of the links - there's loads of info there. Do some work for yourself - we ain't going to do it for you!

(Damn - you students have it so easy these days, with the 'net).

What school are you attending? Not to be mean or critical, but your question seems rather basic for a final year EE student.

Sparky, you really shouldn't make you responses so bland. The place could use some sprucing up. Some throw pillows, a sofa, you know, Hamish

I have to program stuff like this for my Ex. to bolster her self esteem. My daughter thinks you are "KEWL" and I'm inclined to agree.

Keep on thinking free.

Hello Orpheuse

Your advice was been well received here, until I decided to try it, and the throw pillows have caused trouble.

Unfortunately the pillows became a problem from the moment of their arrival.

I am presently taking refuge behind the sofa.

Kind Regards....

I'm not an engineer, but I immediately thought up what kind of control system I would use for what you are talking about. You should familiarize yourself with the different control systems that are available out there.
