Eliminating Odors

Odor is difficult to quantify and hard to eliminate. Need proof? Just visit your local wastewater treatment plant sometime. There is hope for odiferous exhaust, however. According to the latest edition of Pollution Engineering, mixed flow impeller technology could provide a breath of fresh air.

The smell of energy

The bad smells emanating from sewage is actually really high in Hydrocarbons (generally methane). A lot of places are looking to reclaiming that gas in order to keep the smell down as well as to generate enough energy to help power the plants.
