Hello, please try the 2007 edition of ASME Boiler and Pressure Code.

ASME has developed an international code, your best bet is to contact them. You can find the number at their web site at asme.org and they will direct you from there.

Let's back up a bit

If u r working in Qatar you can explore/check the following to cover all other areas of concerns

  • Ministry of Energy of Qatar (specific to)
  • ASME Code (general)
  • Mechanical Engineering Society of Qatar (professional advice)
  • Industry Plans and Specification (for you to check may be 2 or 3 plans then compare)
  • Local & Municipal Regulation (permits and others)

Hope this will assist you in any way

I agree with the last comment. Having worked there in past, it is vital to receive the governement's concurance before you begin work. It's best to include them from the very beginning.

And if you want a detailed presentation of your research/study, you can make a comparative table say ASME CODE COMPARE WITH OTHER STANDARDS (specific to the your concern and present it to ur next level then always keep a hard copy for your record & dated) . Remember that standards are updated on a regular basis as the old saying goes " What is new today will be different tommorrow and can be a good reference to refer for any concern arises) - "a good engineering habits/practice".
