If wire spokes are used on wheels, incorrect tensioning of one side will cause the rim to wobble. A jig can be made up to drop each wheel into place and be given a quick spin on the axle to determine if adjustments are correct. Adjust as necessary.

If they are solid or cast wheels they may have been bent before installation, but most of the times damage can be traced back to the handling or installation of the tires on the rims. Check to see if they are good before tire installation and then immediately afterwards. You may need to train your personnel in the finer principles of tire mounting.

Run a small hammer around the wheel. A 1/4" dia rod would work well. If any spokes are too tight or too loose, the tone will be higher or lower than the others.

Would help, if you can further define," wobbling." Is the wobble the result of the wheel not being trued? Or, does the wobble appear while the wheel is spinning, due to a weight imbalance?
