If your camera is supplied by WEB interface for its control, It's likely you could do the same [control] by means of WEB/WAP browser installed on your mobile.
Ok if your camera can be connected to any wireless modem [blue tooth, wifi] and in supposition your mobile has embedded modem too[GPRS, Blue tooth, Infra red, etc ].
The option is to use PC/laptop as gateway, in admitting your camera is designed for PC.
In any case you need some API tools to handle DFTM signals from mobile to partially used protocol.
If you camera is just WEB one, I am supposing there is tools for HTTP handling. Java could be applied here with ease. If your camera is industrial one there should be set of software tools how to apply remote control.
By the way, my first post didn't reject using DFTM.
now i m telling in detail ,actully i already have a circuit and codes for controlling the robot(motor) by a cellphone by sending DTMF tones,i want to connect a cam which can controlled by same and which use voice signal of cellphone network and trasmit it to lap top.
Ok, if you have tools to control your controller through DFTM it isn't too hard (for skilled person) to connect your controller to your camera [maybe through some circuit, depend upon communication protocol] and add some piece of code for camera controlling.
I'm sorry I can't provide this kind of work for you due to lack of time and other reasons.
You would visit specialized web-site referred to yours controller brand.
