Robotic Deburring

09/16/2008 2:01 AM

What are the major factors considered for robotic deburring process?

Is there any standard methode of doing the same?

I want to debur the job by gripping it in a robotic gripper & using a stationary deburring tool. Can it be done?

yes, but the robot would be better used to deliver the part to aspinning tool which will likely be more successful at burr removal than a single swipe against a fixed tool at the robots limit of pitch (articulation.)

PS is the period supposed to be in the parenthesis or not?
