It depends on the capital avaibility. With expanding market in India and Far East India will be hub of Nano powder based on sensor, Dielectric (barium titanante for capacitor, low k dielectric based on borsilicate nano powder.

Dear Amrut

Starting a new nano ceramic processing/production unit is COMPLETELY different from Using nano tech in ceramic industry. Former requires high level of skill sets and a completely different set of human resources whereas latter would be using nano tech products in improving existing properties etc.

I feel you want to use nano tech in ceramic industry since Gujarat is known for its ceramic industry. I was listening to Shri Narendra Modi, during his visit to Bangalore and he has a vision to take this industry on the world map, something similar to BONE CHINA or ceramic industry of China.

Apologies in advance, If I am wrong in my assessment.

Thanks and regards

Dear Mr Toshniwal,

Your thinking is absoulatly right, as here in Gujarat so many traditional (ceramic tiles & sanitary wares) ceramic companies. And I am also plant & machinry manufacturer and supplier for these industry.

But I am not thinking about this type of traditional ceramics. I am thinking about nano powder and also some products from these nano powder. I have already attend the meeting regarding NANO TECHNOLOGY at Pittsburgh, PA, USA, in November 2007. But not sure about products.

Thanks for reply
