Power World Simulator

09/23/2008 3:48 PM

two balanced three pohase loads taht are connected in parallel r fed by a three pahse line havinh a series impedence of (0.4 + j 2.7) ohms per phase. one of teh loads absorbs 560 kva at 0.707 lagging pf, other 132kW at unity pf.

line to line voltage at the load end id 2200*root3V.

Compute

a) line to line voltage at the source end of the line

b) total real and reactive losses in three phase line.

c) total three pahse real and reactive power supplieed at the end of line.

check atht three phase complex power delivered by the source equals the total three pahse complex power absorbed by th eload.

solve the problem with ahnd and also with power world simulator.
