Micro Geared Motor

09/28/2008 12:32 AM

I am attempting to find a mico geared DC motor with specific requirements; is there a website where I can post this? I have tried through Google but seem to become bogged down in all different various products and when I request info via e-mail,l seldom receive a reaction.

Try Faulhaber. They claim to have the smallests DC-motors.

what size? what purpose? do you need a few or a lot!

curious.. i have searched lots of them myself, and they are .. not easy to find..

plug a voltage into your search if you know what you want to work with and you might get a few good hits. also, search gearhead motor instead of just geared.

that should do it?

Hi Sungun

I have recently received some 12v sample motor & gearbox from iris@kindlymotor.com, they are quiet and low current draw. My original request was through Global Sources (Ad top right hand of this page, GlobalSpec). They vet their suppliers so you stand a better chance of a reply. The normal procedure is the company will supply 1 or 2 samples and you pay freight, so you need to get an account with FedEx or similar. You need to show some credibility, such as have a web site, company name etc. Good luck.

Tony

For a few years, I used very small motors with an

- output shaft diameter : 0.8 mm

- diameter motor body : 6 mm

- output torque 0.157 10E-3 Nm

- voltage 4.5 VDC

- speed 20 000 RPM

associated gear,

- output shaft diameter 1.5 mm

- gear housing diameter 6 mm

- reduction i= 854

- 5 stages planetary gear

that was very small

I "ll will look up the model and type.
