Autoclaves, Gaskets and Seals

dear sir .my autoclave leaking steam because the rubber seal ring is nt load the steam pressure 13 bar and temp 220c ,so i want to know the type of seal which loading that conditions , thank u

omran, before you start changing parts on the Autoclave it would probably be best to contact the manufactures directly as this may not just be as easy as changing the seal.

If this has just started to happen then it probably is not down to the seal, however if this has been happening since the Autoclave was installed (or on a regular basis since it was installed) then perhaps it is an issue with the seal.

In either case contacting the manufacturer would be the best option for you. Depending on the environment and the application changing the seal may incur additional qualification/validation efforts.
