Steve Fossett

10/02/2008 1:57 AM

It looks like a hiker may have found belongings of Steve Fossett ; http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/us_and_americas/article4865207.ece

The news has only just broken so it's a bit early to speculate, but it may interest those who followed the earlier thread about his disappearance.

What's "off topic" ? I never liked them, even before they bacame Snickers. Chocolate is fine, and so are nuts, but not together. I'm sure m 'n' m's used to have a different name as well.

Don't tell me.......you opened the pack upside down ? That's silly, because they'd have fallen on the ground.

Here is a snippet more on Fossett ; http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/10/02/BAEU13A99B.DTL&tsp=1

The crash was probably cased by not clicking his fridge switch to 1 (BTW I'm too lazy to click on your link too.)

Hey, just checked out your link...cheers...I didn't know they'd found the wreckage, bows respectfully to linkmeister (insofar as you can bow when curled up inside fridge)

The trouble is, you guys in North America have such a big chunk of longitude. Can't you all huddle up in a North-South line to make it easier for the rest of us ?

Over here it's getting hard to tell the difference between each side ! Years of custard-pie politics have left us in a blue and red gloop, and if Buddy hadn't come up with the 7,000,000,000,000 dimes he'd have joined us in the ****. Wonder where they're coming from .

I don't know... It's yest to be seen whether he bailed out a bunch of investment bankers or the economy of the US. If it turns out to be the former, I personally will give to the fund to put a hit out on his phony-Bologna ass!

Oh yeah, I'm sure the motive is to help the average citizen......couldn't possibly be anything to do with the rich staying/getting richer.....nooooo.......merchant bankers makes for better rhyming slang. Just as interesting is who voted which way and when, it looked like a lote of them were playing sly (waiting until it was a done deal before voting). It's lucky that the plans effectivness wont be seen until after the election - if it goes crap shape you should have elected the Republicans, and if it works you should have elected the Democrats.

Suggest lining shoreline of your island with people and slave galley type oars to facilitate rowing the UK into middle of Atlantic. You can use Dels busted car door as rudder. Should slice off a few hours off've the time zone.

We could try sailing the Isle of White, people have been gagging to do that 'if everyone got on the IoW...' thing for ages. Can you persuade your neighbours to send us some sunny Florida in exchange - we need it !
