Voltage regulation

10/12/2008 11:53 PM

Hi

We want to control the voltage in our plant as incomimg voltage 115volts 60 hz. usually varies some time it reaches 130 volts which is damaging our machine's console. How ca we regulate it to proper value so that input to machines is according to the desired value of 115 -120 volts.

if your equipments are so sensitive go for servo-stabilizers.

Hello Guest,

You are missing several details which would have been useful:

  1. Location
  2. Country
  3. Plant Full Load
  4. Plant Idle Load
  5. Speed of change from Plant Full Load to Idle Load, and vice-versa.
  6. Other details - Advise please.

In the absence of useful details: Install an automatic regulator transformer, with on-load tapchanger.

Kind Regards....
