In your heading you mention water in the "fuel Lines" and during your post it seems it's in the compressed air lines. Please inform us which it is.

You don't post where your location is. Have you been experiencing higher humidity levels lately? Are there drain lines that may be clogged that discharge water? Maybe blowing down the lines and restarting may help. Was the dryer sufficiently working during the same season prior to this occurrence?

More information could help us to help you.

If nothing has changed i would suspect the dryer needs regassing or it could be a faulty compressor on the dryer, if usage has increased the dryer may not be able to keep up they can only process a set amount of air before they become inefficent and stop doing their job

Easy for fix, by the way i recommed to using the water fillter with the auto-drain function also before receiver air tank then will connect to air dryer, then is no water.

Hi,

I had the same problem with a massive, air driven fueling system. The problem was the large quantity of water that easily overwhelmed the control attemp devices.

Just before your cooler put in vertical air tank with a vertical baffle in it. The holes in the baffle should be 3/4 of the distance from the tank top. The air should enter from the side at the top and be aimed at the top of the baffle. Make the tank as large as you can make it or have room for. Put a sight glass on the side of the tank and some device to let the water out of the tank. At the air entrance to the tank put in an small restriction to flow at about the 1 or 2 psi delta level. Put the air outlet on the top of the other side of the tank and let it prtrude an inch or two into the tank. Damn little water will get past this.

The last time we experienced this problem we discovered the air dryer bypass valve was OPEN and the wet air followed that old law of 'seeking the path of least resistance'.

In addition to your refrigerated dryer you need a desiccant type dryer - your dew point is too high - you will never acheive a low dewpoint without one. EdK

We only run Refrigerated dryers and have no trouble with water in lines the air is tested every 6 months as we also use air for spray painting and have not had any issues, a desiccant dryer is just a type of Absorption dryer

Is your refrigerated dryer operating properly:are the coils clean? Does Freon compressor have proper pressures(hi and lo side). If too little freon, it can ice up, or not chill at all, depending on degree of freon loss.Mostly, it is dirty coils reducing the efficiency of the dryer. Is all of your air actually going thru the dryer? We color code all valves thusly: Normally open;green -- normally closed;red-- normally throttled;yellow.

This makes it easy to tell at a glance if the valves have been left in wrong position.
