column height

Dear Sir,

I am working in power plant

in my plant boiler structural column height is 45.5 meter and 4 joint

in that how i can check the verticality and alignment

pls help thi reg

This may be helpful 1. First lift columns verticality may be checked by piano wire with conventional plumbs form top keeping away form the column for a standard distance 2. The alignment shall be completed with beams and bracings for the first lift. 3. Second lift and first lift combine with piano wire and conventional plumb 4. The same way remaining lifts shall be completed. Or You can use some verticality measurement instruments
