remeber my middle school lession, I know this ions exist in many silver salt solution.

you can use electrolytic method to get silver. or use chemical reaction to get various kinds of silver compound.

the second question is out of my depth. I cant answer it.

Silver has antibiotic properties, so it is used for certain types of medicines. Silver itself is safe to eat usually, provided it is properly prepared. Indians are fond of putting it on their candy.

Another way to create silver ions is to use it as electrodes in an electrolysis unit.

Silver will dissolve in nitric acid.

Aqueous silver nitrate is very toxic, and turns skin black on contact.

CNPower is correct in how to easily produce silver ions.

Silver has a variety of reported medical uses. It does posess anti-microbial properties.

However, I strongly caution against experimenting with it for health-releated uses. For example, some people ingest colloidal silver to ward off illness. However, this can cause a condition known as "argyria" - this turns your skin permanently blue-gray. While argyria isn't otherwise known to be harmful, it doesn't seem wise to take the chance.
