I want to know about AFBC boilers

why the AFBC boilers are called AFBC boilers and what is slip velocity?.

Q. - In the context of FBC boiler, what is slip velocity? What are its advantages?

A. - The mean solids velocity increases at a slower rate than does the gas velocity. The difference between the solids velocity and the gas velocity is called as slip velocity.
