galvanic actions at crevices

what are the causes to create galvanic actions at crevices in piping? please guide me.

Please detail more what you really want.

In steam & water Boilers/ pipelines , Compressed Air pipelines rusting & pitting reaction takes place because of Oxygen (air) mixing with Carbon Dioxide (water) forming ferric oxide.

galvanic and crevice corrosion are different types of corrosion. crevice corrosion occur when there are areas where there is a different concentration of oxygen that creates anodic and cathodic areas.
