Hello flower

If your 1.5mm thick cable trays have exactly the same specification except for the metal thickness, do not worry, and use them.

If the supplier supplied 1.5mm thick at the same price as 1.0mm thick cable tray, you got a bonus.

Unscreened single-core AC power cables need to be placed in a triangular cross-section, and tied or clamped together, because of electromagnetic induction into the metal - the closely strapped/clamped/tied grouping of three phases of each cable circuit minimises that effect.

Thicker cable tray will assist in heat removal from the cables.

Installation should not be a problem, as the 0.5mm extra thickness will be quite OK.

Trust that assists you.

Kind Regards....

Cable trays are rated in the number of pounds-per-foot of wire they are designed to cary. The mounting/support hardware and fasteners used for the higher rated trays makes a huge difference. Consult your vendor.
