There are too many "engineering materials" to give you an adequate answer, including, but not limited to: carbon steels, low alloy steels, stainless steels, aluminum alloys, nickel alloys, titanium alloys, thermopolymers, composites, ..................

I suggest doing an exhaustive search under Google and reading what you find.

"engineering materials...that are used in the industry"

What industry?

A machine shop?

A steel fabrication shop?

Power Plant Engineering and Design

Refinery or Chemical Plant Engineering and Design?

Food Processing?

What industry?

I think at last count there was something like over 10 000 grades of steels manufactureed, no fewer than 25 grades account for over 50% of the steel production. Not to mention cast iron, bronzes, Copper/Nickel alloys etc,etc so as mentioned in previous comments..........What is your poison????
