My company has started complying with the rules and regulations of the National Fire code for arc flash.. So we are having to wear special arc flash clothing..Does anyone know a good place to get good quality comfortable arc flash rated clothing?

We just went through that at my company. The uniforms are made from Indura UltraSoft.

They are provided and cleaned by a local uniform company:

Oberon--This company helped develop the code.

If you haven't researched it yet. FRT and IFR are important to know.

Carhartt has FR clothing that I have purchased and I am happy with. My need is only cat. 2* and my goal is to have at least 8 cal/cm² on from head to toe as work clothes. FR pants and a hooded sweatshirt, then one could pull the hood on and don a face shield/cap and gloves and be compliant for most 480v work.(Hearing protection is required)
