how to calculate unit weight of bar of 8 mm size diameter?

Mass = volume * density.

Volume of bar = pi * radius2 * length

For a 1m bar,

Mass (in kg) = pi * (4 * 10-3)2 * 1 * ρ, where ρ is the density in kg/m3

≈ 5 * 10-5 * ρ
