i am working in Engineering consultancy;

could anybody assist me about copper and copper alloy piping standards commonly used.

also other exotic materials used for piping specially petrochemical industry.

The ptrol chemical industry mainly uses Stailess steel aloys to minimise the chances of unwanted reactions taking place. Copper can be agressively reactive with some chemicals produced.
