about logic families

what is the difference between active pull up and passive pull up in logic families?give defination also.

Active pullup has an active device - bipolar transistor or FET between the output and Vcc. When the active device switches ON, the output is pulled up. Passive pullup - and I assume you mean open collector or open drain devices - rely on a passive resistor to pull up the outour when the pulldown transistor is OFF.

hi,I am an E.C( electronics and comm.) Engineer student,third year, studying in government college in India.Can you tell me what are the things that i have for good placement in companies.In our government college there less chance for campus interview.Also i have a English language problem.I can understand technical english but find problem in commersial english.So, give suggestion to improve it.Please help me...

I am studying in electronics and communication third year,Government Engg college,surat in india.Can you tell me what are the things that i have for good placement in compnies.In our college there no chance for placement because of poor situation. I have also a problem of English language.i can understand technical english but difficulty in commersial English.please help me...
