Special Ball Valve

I need 1/2" Ball Valve with following specs.

  • Manually operated,
  • Normally Closed,
  • Spring return,
  • suitable for LPG

Do you know any manufacturer?

Well, I'm not used to this specification, but as an idea, you could purchase the valve and the actuator separately, and use manual, compressed air, hydraulic or even the working fluid power to actuate it. I've seen some different applications that use off the shelf manual valves with special purpose actuators installed in the valve shaft. Works fine.

Hello Oilman,

I don't know about this particular application, but Parker Hannifin manufactured some 1/2" ball valves for CNG automotive applications starting back in the mid '90s. Maybe they can help.

Check out Acepumps.com. They offer a 400 psi ball valve with a quarter turn rachet on/off. I do not know if is is suitable for LP though. Good luck!

Check out Boiler feed gas shut off valves. I don't remember a mfg's name but they are out there.
