entrance loss

whats the calculation used to find the entrance loss in pipe in meters. The entrance has a very sharp edge. The answer is 0,022m but how do i get the equation

I assume you mean entrance to a pipe from a tank?

It's 0.5*V2/(2*g).

BTW V2/(2*g) is the velocity head, in case you didn't know and wonder why I didn't write it as V2/(4*g).
